ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – Last week’s deadly gas explosion in New York on the heels of a building collapse in the Soulard neighborhood should serve as a stark warning about the need for early warning systems.
Safety experts who crammed into a day-long building safety seminar in St. Louis say that warning’s still too often are ignored. The session included dozens of fire chiefs, utility professionals and safety inspectors across the region.
