Monitoring Services

Tech Electronics offers multiple Monitoring Solutions for your facility including the following:

  1. Basic Monitoring: Basic includes monitoring of communication or alarm systems for system-generated alarms, troubles, or supervisory signals.  The following options are available:
    • Daily Test (required for all fire alarm systems) - provides for daily test signal to monitoring facility to verify communications path from digital communicator to monitoring facility.
    • Weekly Test - provides for daily test and signal to monitoring facility to verify communications path from digital communicator to monitoring facility.
    • Buddy Accoung - provides for monitoring of other alarm or communication systems locked at teh same time.  Monthly charge applies per additional system.
  2. Zone/Point or Area Protection Monitoring Service: includes monitoring of communication or alarm system(s) such as the information transmitted to the monitoring station is more detailed providing specific devices and/or areas that are in alarm or trouble. The following options are available:
    • Daily Test (required for UL Fire Alarm Monitoring) - provides for daily test signal to monitoring facility to verify communications path from digital communicator to monitoring facility.
    • Weekly Test - provides for daily test and signal to monitoring facility to verify communications path from digital communicator to monitoring facility.
    • Buddy Account - provides for monitoring of other alarm or communication systems located at teh same site.  Monthly charge applies per additional system.
  3. Elevator Telephone Emergency Call Monitoring: provides for live operator answer for emergency calls placed from the elevator.
  4. Standalone Emergency Telephone or Panic Alarm Monitoring:  provides for live operator answer for emergency calls placed from teh emergency telephones.  Panic Alarm Monitoring provides for alarm monitoring for emergency calls placed from teh panic alarm device.
  5. Supervisory Monitoring: provides for monitoring of special conditions.
  6. Remote Access to Customer Account: provides for remote access to customer account to view alarm, trouble, and/or supervisory activity for monitored systems.  Also provides access to view and edit customer site contact list per monitored system.
  7. Backup Monitoring: provides for an alternate connection to the monitoring facility in case of loss of standard loop start line.  The following options are available:
    • Daily Test - provides for daily test signal to monitoring facility to verify communications path from digital communicator to monitoring facility. Includes 46 signals per month.
    • Weekly Test - provides for daily test signal to monitoring facility to verify communications path from digital communicator to monitoring facility. Includes 20 signals per month.
    • Monthly Test - provides for daily test signal to monitoring facility to verify communications path from digital communicator to monitoring facility. Includes 10 signals per month.
  8. Supervised Openings / Closing: provides for monitoring of the access control system for access to the building within authorized hours of access. The following options are available:
    • From within local calling area of central station location.
    • From outside local calling area of central station location.
  9. Monitoring Reports: provides pre-defined monitoring reports regarding monitoring activity such as monthly opening/closings report, all monthly activity report, daily emergency activity reports, etc.
