MiVoice Office 250 Discontinuation
Mitel designated the MiVoice Office 250 Phone System (formerly known as Mitel 5000), as end of life on June 30, 2026. This means the manufacturer will no longer offer new sales, hardware repairs or software support for the platform.
Mitel has also designated the MiVoice Application Suite, including Phone Manager and Call Reporter, as end-of-life, with technical support ending June 30, 2027.

What This Means for You
As your system service provider, Tech Electronics has a migration path prepared for organizations currently operating on these systems.
We recommend reviewing the migration path through a Mitel Health Check, as Tech Electronics will no longer be able to provide manufacturer support for the MiVoice Office 250 platform on January 1, 2027.
Your phone system will still be operational after the discontinuation of service.
However, without manufacturer support, software updates, and hardware availability, maintaining the system may cause disruptions to service and cybersecurity vulnerabilities.
