Genetec released Cloudlink 2210 for cloud-managed access control, video surveillance and intrusion detection at enterprise scale on June 15.
The appliance combines the scalability of the cloud with the capability of an on-prem system, so it can support large, enterprise-level facilities while accommodating existing infrastructure.

Facilities can scale their security system without abandoning existing equipment through third-party integrations. This open architecture supports growth within a single appliance.
With Cloudlink 2210, systems can scale both vertically and horizontally, expanding device count, capacity and capability.
Each appliance can support up to 800 cameras alongside access control and intrusion detection systems. It is also available with several different storage options ranging from 60-240 terabytes.
All storage options are RAID-based to meet retention policies and high data volumes.

Cloudlink 2210’s capacity and reliability ideally position it for deployments with intensive data-retention needs across large campuses with multiple sites.
Increased processing power means the appliance can manage up to 1,600 Mbps of throughput data.
These capabilities bring enterprise-level scalability to a cloud-managed option, enabling facilities to scale at their own pace.
