Center Grove Community School Corporation Partners with Tech Electronics of Indiana for a Safer Campus
Greenwood, IN – Center Grove Community School Corporation continues their partnership with technology solutions provider, Tech Electronics of Indiana to improve campus safety. After launching an initiative in 2013 to deliver a safer environment for students, faculty and visitors, Center Grove partnered with Tech Electronics to upgrade their video surveillance system. The next phase of the School Corporation’s initiative is an overhaul of the facility’s access control and intrusion detection technology.
“We are working towards having the best security solution in the state,” says Dr. Bill Long, Assistant Superintendent of Center Grove Community Schools. “Partnering with Tech Electronics aligns with our goal of having one partner for a streamlined security solution.”
Tech Electronics’ design utilizes parts of the existing system’s infrastructure and integrates with the current video surveillance system providing cost savings and one easy to use interface. “These integrations will make monitoring and responding more efficient as well as deliver a proactive solution to address situations in real time,” said Joel Staples, Account Manager for Tech Electronics. “The new solution is the foundation of a unified tool that easily integrates and manages multiple systems.”
The School Corporation places a high priority on safety and is continually working to improve security processes and systems.
