SWMW Law, St. Louis, MO.
SWMW Law is a plaintiffs’ firm based in downtown St. Louis, Missouri, specializing in asbestos, lung cancer, and personal injury litigation. Founded in 2012, the firm primarily represents individuals suffering from mesothelioma and other conditions related to asbestos or other toxic exposures.

Challenge
SWMW Law was operating on an outdated cloud VoIP system that was failing to meet the needs of their employees and posed challenges for their technology administrator. One significant issue was that the head secretary, who worked from home two days a week, had to physically transport her desk phone between home and office due to the system’s limitations. Additionally, the previous system required administrative changes to be made through external support, limiting internal control and flexibility.
Solution
Tech Electronics migrated SWMW Law to a new cloud voice platform, addressing multiple pain points with a single solution.
Seamless Remote Work: The new system allows employees to switch effortlessly between office and home setups without the need to move physical hardware.Tech Electronics
Enhanced Administrative Control: The platform provides administrators with greater control, enabling them to make system changes internally without relying on external support.
Scalability for Growth: As a relatively young and growing business, SWMW Law benefits from a future-proof, scalable platform that can adapt to their evolving needs.
Tech Electronics upgraded CKS’s security hardware with single and multi-lens IP cameras, new access control readers and a new video intercom system for the front door, all of which are fully unified and monitored via Genetec’s Security Center platform. The platform not only provides a user-friendly interface and remote access via mobile devices, but also enables Federation, which allows the school to provide law enforcement officers with access to the school’s security solutions in the event of an emergency.
When we were discussing what the customer wanted out of their phone system, things like call reporting and other similar functions were among the first things that came up, but they had an eye on the future as well. They are still a relatively young and growing business, and will probably only continue to grow over time. A future-proof, scalable platform like this will allow them to easily add-on and adjust as their needs change.

Feedback
One of the most obvious problems with our old system stemmed from the fact that our head secretary works from home two days a week. Our old system made it difficult to have two phones mirrored with one another, and she was literally carrying her desk phone home and back to work multiple times a week. The new system allows her to switch seamlessly between the unit in the office and the one at home, and you can imagine what a relief that was. (…) The system provides all the features we were looking for and more, the Tech team was extremely responsive and helpful, and at the end of the day, it’s costing us less than our previous phone system was. It doesn’t get much better than that.
